Lelah is now offering Henna body Art. Each design will last 1-3 weeks depending on where you put the design and how well you care for it. Henna is a plant indigenous to India and northern Africa. The henna leaf is ground up and combined with lemon juice and eucalyptus oil creating a paste that will stain the skin. The paste is applied, allowed to dry and kept on the skin for 6-8 hours. Once the paste is removed the stained design will last from 1 to 3 weeks depending on what part of the body it is applied. The hands and feet are traditionally where henna was applied and still remains the areas that stain the darkest and last the longest amount of time. However, almost all areas of the body will stain nicely and last at least a week, usually 2 or more.

Henna Parties I offer henna parties, where I will come to your home (or anywhere that is available to us to use for a few hours) and apply henna on your guests. I have a rate of $80 per hour. I can usually henna 7-10 people in 2 hours (that's $16-$22 a person) depending on designs chosen. I will bring a design book (full of over a hundred designs) and all supplies needed.
Whether it's for a prom, a birthday or just to have a great time, henna parties are a fun and unique way to get friends together. Plus you come away with a beautiful piece of art that will last for weeks!
